Typhoon Ondoy may have left this part of the country in the worst conditions it ever had in a very long time, with people still trying to find their loved ones and re-establishing themselves after the damage, it's nice to know that there are foundations which are selflessly devoting their time to help in donating relief goods. That's why I decided to help out, with my friend Bernard (supposedly we were 4, but the 2 girls backed out for some weird reason). We went to Operation Tulong Bayan in Araneta Center and volunteered. It was quite an experience I'm telling you.
We never thought there was so much work needed! But anyhow, we managed (of course we did). First, we were asked to carry heavy boxes of C2, canned goods and mineral water., then we were lined up and we filled the relief packs with each of the stuff that was there, the girl beside me (from U.P.) carried more boxes of water than I did whenever we ran out, plus she's beautiful and lean (impressed I am). Moving on, we stood there for a good 3 hours packing relief goods, I didn't count but pretty much I'll say we packed over 500, and that's good. We ended at noon cause the next batch will be doing their share as well, it was very tiring but definitely worth our time.
It's nice to know that there are still people who care (I'm talking about the other students who joined, as well as the young adults and everyone), they gave their time to help out and I pray to God that everything's gonna get better for those who were affected by Ondoy. I think it's a big help to those in Rizal, Marikina and else where that relief goods are needed. Smile.

State Of Play.
A team of investigative reporters work alongside a police detective to try to solve the murder of a congressman's mistress.
Besides blogging I would like to have this page full of interesting stuff, like movies I've watched. This is my first review, the 2009 movie "State Of Play". I first saw this on the Today Show, they guested Russell Crowe and Rachel McAdams last summer and I told myself "could be interesting", and when it came out here I was unaware, but maybe they had this ready for DVD already so I guess that's why I didn't catch any movie posters at the mall. The movie, is really dark, i mean the setting and the whole vibe of it but the story/plot is really something, I liked how it is all about news reporting and nothing else, there's a whole lot of framing and politics going on in this movie and that pleased me. I love the cast so much by the way, great actors.

The BAHA Experience.
I will never forget September 26, 2009. Pano ba naman, it was the day that we struggled going home, we braved the waist deep flood and we witnessed all sorts of "paghihirap" para lang maging safe mula sa baha na iniwan ni Bagyong Ondoy.
From school, we took a pedicab to the underpass, then kain sa Master Siomai (I didn't like their siomai, sorry). Then we parted ways, Kris, Rachel, Emil and Thea were stranded at Lawton, good thing may unit sa Binondo Suites sina Emil, he managed to let the girls stay there while the 4 of us (Bernard, Krizzia, Quennie and I) went and took a jeep to Baclaran. We were not prepared for the worst.
We waited for 5 long hours just to head home, we even had a hotel plan. But we only had 600 overall so that plan was cut. Everything was absolutely dreadful, it was a disaster. Especially those who are in the low areas, I can't imagine how they will recover and start over from this. I do hope that everyone's helping out. I'm thanking God cause he kept us safe and our home is not damaged.

First Day (of the rest of my life)
I am back on this site, because I think it's awesome. Plus, my other blogger account didn't gain any followers. I'm jealous of those bloggers who gain followers, it's like a recognition thing when you got people who follow you, unfortunately I don't have that. First post, yayer.
