Precious, Crazy Heart, The Other End Of The Line.

For the longest time I have been binging on DVDs (fake ones) and I really want to watch a lot of latest movies, but for now I have seen these 3. Here are my insights.

Precious- this was one heck of a movie. Award-winning indeed and lots of great singers (actors rather) here. Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz are here plus Paula Patton (I love her) and of course the lead roles, Gabourey Sidibe and Mo'nique proved a lot. I love the story and even though were lots of cuss words, I still got the message.

Crazy Heart- when I saw the trailer, I thought it was fantastic but then I wasn't able to watch it in theatres. I didn't get some details because the audio wasn't that clear but then I thought it had a great storyline.

The Other End Of The Line- I thought this was gonna be pretty boring but man, it had such a chick flick-y feel to it and the cultural touch to this movie was pretty good. I have seen lots of movies that have the same conflict but this one really entertained me.

I will have the chance to watch lots of movies soon:)

This Is It Experience

So Ate AJ and I decided to watch "This Is It", it's the movie/documentary of Michael Jackson's rehearsals for his supposedly upcoming world concert series, I can only describe it in a word: GREATNESS. The movie started with interviews from the dancers that were supposed to be participating, they all said that it is indeed a dream come true for them to be part of this.

Then we saw how MJ struts his stuff, how he does the moonwalk, the 45 degree move which I have always wanted to copy. We also witnessed how he sings from the heart, especially the mushy songs he got, "I'll Be There" and "Heal The World" were my favorites. I noticed that he became a little bit slower with his moves and that he always wanted things to be perfect, I mean I don't see it as a problem, come on it's MJ! But you know, if he were alive now, I bet those stadiums and arenas are packed as crazy. One more, he always says "God Bless You" to a crew, dancer or staff if he likes what they did. He's really a nice person

Currently doing the script for RTV Writing here at a computer shop. 6 is my number. My day's good so far, I got badminton by 2:30, I'm so pumped for it (you know the reason why). Btw, I saw this girl a while ago along the hallway and man, she looked like a skanky ho. No kidding! The outfit says it all man, I just don't think it's appropriate to wear somethin like that in school.

Well, now I'm on page 12, 3 more pages to go and yeah I'm all done.

Ate AJ and I will go to the mall later to buy advanced MJ tickets, you know what, I'm more excited on the poster that the ticket, lmao. But anyway, i think it would be a great movie. The title of my entry's kinda lame. Much love.

State Of Play.

A team of investigative reporters work alongside a police detective to try to solve the murder of a congressman's mistress.

Besides blogging I would like to have this page full of interesting stuff, like movies I've watched. This is my first review, the 2009 movie "State Of Play". I first saw this on the Today Show, they guested Russell Crowe and Rachel McAdams last summer and I told myself "could be interesting", and when it came out here I was unaware, but maybe they had this ready for DVD already so I guess that's why I didn't catch any movie posters at the mall. The movie, is really dark, i mean the setting and the whole vibe of it but the story/plot is really something, I liked how it is all about news reporting and nothing else, there's a whole lot of framing and politics going on in this movie and that pleased me. I love the cast so much by the way, great actors.
